Why You Should Participate As A Nigerian

As explained by AfriPI, the Nigeria-EU Business Forum is "a platform for the European Union (EU) and Nigerian businesses to increase domestic investments, enhance access to the EU market, and build strategic partnerships". Concerning this year's edition, the European Union explains that "it provides a platform to engage and identify opportunities for business, trade and sustainable investment under the EU Global Gateway Strategy".

The EU Global Gateway Strategy is an investment drive to which the European Commission is devoting up to €300 billion between 2021 and 2027. Here's what the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has to say about this investment program...

Most times, we suffer in our business or personal lives because of what we should know that we don't know. Therefore, trust that a participation at the 9th edition of the Nigeria-EU Business Forum has every likelihood of affording you an opportunity to learn first-hand about how the European Commission or the European Union is investing in African businesses. This way you can learn how to package your own business and access the available opportunities.

Don't believe that these things are reserved for some special people. Instead, you too can benefit from the opportunities available.

Everything about this program shows that the European Union is willing to invest in any business opportunity that promises sustainable outcomes. So, as you participate, put on your thinking cap and see how you can come up with revolutionary business ideas or packaging that they can fall for.

Nigerian agribusinesses are especially advised to pay attention. This is because one of the specific projects being considered is the EU Support for Agricultural Value Chain Development project (EU-VACE).

Many people are wondering why I refused to tell you my name. Now I tell you: it is because if I tell you my name, I am 99% sure that your tribal sentiments would militate against the message I have for the country. But the message I have is far more important than to be wasted on the altar of self-importance. Indeed, the message is so important that the messenger is of zero consideration in relation to it.  So, you don't need to know my name. I am not important here. My message is what is all-important. A REPORT: Nigerian Month-old Babies Are Dying Of Hunger! - Why And How To Identify And Help Them

Earlier today, we published a poignant story of a 4-month-old Nigerian baby who can hardly feed with his mother and 3 sibblings . This is a follow-up to that story. The story in question, more than anything else, reveals that many parents of newborn babies in Nigeria can no longer afford baby food. What it means is that even babies in their numbers are going hungry in the country right now. What a shame! It also implies that breastfeeding mothers are going hungry in their numbers too. It's as a result of the economic crunch, most of which could have been avoided. Again, what a shame! It's really a big shame but cursing the darkness is not what we need now. Instead, we need to light a candle as much and as soon as we can. How can we reduce or eliminate extreme hunger in Nigeria as soon as now? At least, how can we ensure that babies and breastfeeding mothers are taken out of hunger levels at least? This Is What We Are Doing As for us at Awake Digest, we are declaring

NIGERIA: Possible Strategies President Tinubu Is Using To Pocket The Country As He Did Lagos

Image source: The Southern Examiner I visited Festac Town Lagos in 2006 when Tinubu held sway as the state governor. One thing I noticed without anyone telling me was this high austerity level in the air - which contrasted sharply with my experiences in a couple other parts of the country. When I asked, I was told that the 3D suffering levels were as a result of The Obasanjo Federal Government withholding the allocation due to the state. I couldn't understand it because I always knew Lagos as a mega state with such a humongous IGR that it could function beyond average even without any federal allocation. It took me over a decade before I realized what the man was actually doing then under the noses of millions of citizens. I remembered to revisit this issue because I see now a reenactment of what happened in Lagos in those days. The only difference I see is that then, it happened at a state level but now it is happening at the national level. Here are some of the strate
