I just read this story about Davido on a Facebook page named Ngalim Sylverius' Blog...
_______
"I had no intentions of featuring Davido on "Maserati", but he called like 100-times in 1-hour and when I did pick he sent his manager to come get me. When we got to his place, he started playing "Maserati" on repeat for like 4-5 times." Olakira
"When Davido heard my song, "Maserati", he reached out to me and plęaded with me to let him jump on a remix with me. Davido called like 100-times in 1-hour and when I didn't pick, he sent his manager to come get me. The funny thing is when when got to Davido's house, he played the song on repeat for like 4-5 times. And I asked my manager if there was nothing wrông with Davido but he told me to chill. Then while the song was still playing, Davido kneeled dõwn and beggęd me with everything in him to please let him jump on a remix with me. I didn't really wanna choose him for the remix but my manager told me to and that's how I put Davido on my remix." Olakira
Olakira on how the feature with Davido on "Maserati Remix" happened🥲‼️

Then, the following comments capture some of the most predominant attitudes displayed by Facebookers under the story. As we are going to see shortly, this story, more than anything else I ever knew, reveals why rich people or families (like Davido's) are so rich and obviously happy in contrast to most of their fellow countrymen...
I always liked Davido but I never saw myself as one of his fans until I read this story. And it is quite revealing to see scores of Nigerians rather thinking this attitude displayed by Davido is dishonourable!
You can never be really wealthy until:
✅You can humble yourself to get what you want even from people others consider lower than you.
✅You can reach out to other people to collaborate with them. You can't be richer than the quality and quantity of your human network.
✅You are so passionate about something that you can do it whether it pays money or not. When passion creates profit, the profit never dies because the passion that fuels it never dies.
All these 3 qualities are so effortlessly displayed here by Davido. Such a sterling trait! No wonder his family is so rich and happy, and no wonder many others might present an outright contrast.
Go and find this out: In contrast to these qualities displayed by Davido here, most people reeling in abject poverty are:
✖️So proud they don't go for what they need.
✖️So selfish they don't reach out to other people. Even to share a helpful online message might become a problem to them because they are afraid that someone might gain something through them!
✖️So greedy they think it can be done only when it pays raw money and to the extent it does.
No wonder the Bible says, “blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth”!
There is certainly a reason why members of some families tend to make mega money 💰 💰 💰 naturally while others seem to struggle where other people succeeded.
For instance, coincidentally, I found this story told about Aliko Dangote's grandfather today by a Facebooker named Yemi Melikhaya…

In the 1940s, Alhassan Dantata 🇳🇬 was the richeśt person in West Africa.
He worked with kolanuts and built the Kano Groundnut Pyramids. Each pyramid had 15,000 filled bags.
He was a supplier to British trading companies.
Alhassan Dantata òpened an account with British Bank of West Africa (now First Bank Nigeria) with 20 camel-loads of silver coins in Kano, Nigeria in 1929
His great grandson, Aliko Dangote is the World's RÃchest Black person.
