#Scampaign As Donald Trump Launches A New Crypto In Self-contradiction "To Make America Great Again"

Some 35 days to the American Presidential Election, former President and current Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump announced the launch of a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform.

"I promised to Make America Great Again, this time with crypto. @WorldLibertyFi is planning to help make America the crypto capital of the world! The whitelist for eligible persons is officially open – this is your chance to be part of this historic moment. Join: worldlibertyfinancial.com," Trump posted on his verified X page (@realDonaldTrump).

The post had many fingers wagging under it. One of the comments (from @Ronxyz∅∅) shared a past Trump tweet where he apparently said as follows:

"I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity"

The truth is that what Trump said in this past tweet is true and remains true until now. The question is: Why is Donald Trump now supporting crypto, knowing its big dangers to the society?

Unsurprisingly therefore, most of the comments that we could read under the X post accused the former president of promoting a scam...

Then, one account (@damintoell) went creative with the accusation by simply saying "Scampaign".
