#PublishBillDrafts: Tax Bill Sparks A Campaign To Enhance Citizen Participation In Law-making Process
Like it or leave it, one of the reasons it's so easy for a minority to cage the majority across the African countries is that Africans are deeply and widely lazy. Bitter pill, yes. But, until we swallow it and follow suit with ACTION, we are going nowhere as a continent.
Why am I saying this?
Imagine! A simple Google search reveals that Nigerians are not overwhelmingly seeking to see the original drafts of the tax laws that the Bola Tinubu Administration is introducing!
This sounds like people who have made up their minds to have their future perpetually mortgaged...
Then comes the #PublishBillDrafts Campaign
The above is why we commend the #PublishBillDrafts campaign by LAFF Economics and urge every Nigerian to support it.
This is to call on the Nigerian parliament to always #PublishBillDrafts to enhance the country's democracy.

Imagine a country where an issue as important as TAX REFORM is discussed and over 90% of the population has no access to the bill draft. Further details on this below 👇
The campaign is simply a call on the National Assembly to make every bill before them public so that EVERY Nigerian who likes can access it and contribute on the bill through his elected representatives.
Otherwise, who knows what "the master strategist" is introducing there? After all, aren't we all witnesses to what he did with Alpha Beta in Lagos?
Therefore, every Nigerian should care about the future of their unborn generations and lend their support to this campaign. If you support this, kindly share.
